Lets face it. Someone has to do. Especially if you don’t live close to the bar scene and a cab ride is just too expensive. I know sometimes it may feel like your babysitting a bunch of throwing up babies or you’ve just become the counselor for a group of sobbing woman, but here are some reasons to consider that may make it worth while.
1. You save money. 5-10 bucks a drink plus tip! A night out can get expensive, especially when your drinking and all you care about is getting more booze and maybe even food in the end. It adds up fast. Every once in awhile taking your d.d. turn can be a relief to your bank account.
2. You save your friends money. I guess it all depending on how far away you go to get your drink on, but you could be saving your friends money on a cab ride. They’ll thank you in the morning and hopefully return the favor, saving you some for next time.
3. You remember the night. It’s pretty funny to see things from a sober perspective. Not only do you get to fill your friends in on all the ridiculous babble that slurred from their mouths, but you can remember to take pictures to prove everything. How did her pants really get all wet? Yes, you get to be the lucky one to inform them of there hilariously dumb actions and hold it over their heads for life.
4. You wont get the drunk munchies. You know when you’ve been trying a healthy diet and the whole week you’ve been so good, but then the weekend comes and ruins it all! Well not only will you save yourself from consuming all those long island ice teas, but you won’t get the drunk munchies afterwards and shove fries at your face like they are the best thing in the world.
5. You might actually meet someone nice. So the majority of the people you talk to are going to be drunkies, but someone has to drive them home too, right? Not only will you have left your beer goggles at home, but you’ll actually remember his name and if you had things in common. If you think about it, guys aren’t that attracted to a girl that is tripping over herself anyways.
6. You’ll look better. Getting trashed, can make you look like trash. What is it about alcohol that makes girls go from glam to gory? Is it the sweating on the dance floor? The beer you spilt on yourself? Or maybe just the fact that you can’t function right to fix yourself? Not to mention the dehydrating effects alcohol causes your skin in the morning. eek!
7. You don’t want to be another statistic. Every year over a million people in the U.S. are arrested for DUIs. You’ve got to be a dummy to think its worth it. Enough said.
